General Information:
Cordoama Beach is part of the Costa Vicentina Natural Park, conveniently located just 5 km from Vila do Bispo and 30 km from Lagos. Stretching approximately 2 km, this expansive sandy beach is not only a haven for surfers but also offers an excellent setting for leisurely beach walks. The vast area ensures you can always find a tranquil spot for yourself, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes.

Surf Information:
Cordoama Beach is a beach break surf spot facing northwest, working best with northwest swell and southeast winds that create ideal offshore conditions for surfing. Suitable for all levels of surfers, during the summer, smaller to medium-sized waves are perfect for beginners and intermediates. In contrast, winter brings larger waves, transforming Cordoama into a spot for advanced and professional surfers. The seemingly gentle white waves are ideal for beginners throughout the year, but their power and size can provide a challenging and rewarding experience.

Be cautious of strong currents and submerged rocks in certain areas.

Useful Information:
Cordoama Beach offers a conveniently spacious parking area, although it can fill up quickly during the summer. There's also a cafe, "Bar de Praia," serving good food and drinks. It's advisable to bring cash, as there is no ATM available on-site.
